Natural Regional Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi

The Natural Regional Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi is the ” green heart” of Marche Region. It was born in September 1997 (L.R. n.57 of 02.09.1997), with its 10.026 hectares, it is the largest regional protected area and includes the subterranean complex of Frasassi caves.

Frasassi Caves

By car: Highway A14 exit Senigallia (if coming from the north), following the signs to Morro D’Alba and San Marcello, Ancona North or exit (if coming from the south), taking the Rome-Ancona highway exit Jesi Est or Monsano towards San Marcello.

By plane: Airport “Raffaello Sanzio” of Falconara Marittima – Ancona 15 Km.
By train: Station of Senigallia (Milan-Lecce) or Jesi (Ancona-Rome line), are 18 and 5 km.
