Sustainable low environmental impact.

Situated on the beautiful hills of the Marche at about 220mt a.s.l, in the hinterland of Senigallia, there is a unique land of clayey limestone who combined with the salty air flow from the sea nearby, provide the ideal growing conditions of two exceptional native wines: Lacrima di Morro d’Alba DOC and Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC. Perfumes and history led us to plant them in 2008 on four acres adjacent to the Tenuta allowing us to produce five labels between Base, Superiore and Rosato, all vinified in purity.

Vinify only grapes from our own vineyard which covers 2.2 hectares of Lacrima di Morro d’Alba and 1.5 hectares of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi with a sixth plant of 5,600 plants per hectare trained by the Guyot, with a reduced production to a single screw Kg of grapes.
In the field we do not use herbicides and chemical fertilizers; the winemaking process uses traditional methods with low environmental impact: our point of arrival is the Bio-Dynamic integrated. Within about two years we have dramatically reduced also the use of copper and sulfur through the use of micro-organisms and natural essential algae extracts and infusions of medicinal herbs. This is to stimulate the screw to strengthen their defenses.

The harvest is done exclusively by hand and being the cellar in the vineyard, the pressing is made within one hour of collection, allowing you to reduce by 50% the use of sulfites than traditional methods.
The use in the cellar of the most innovative winemaking techniques allows us to follow a process of vinification and aging in complete harmony with the traditional wine-making dynamics, respecting the times that nature requires to transform any juice into wine, preserving and maximizing the scents characteristic of Tear and Verdicchio.
Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature using a geothermal system in static cooling, powered 100% by renewable sources. From the heat of fermentation we heat the water for the family

Do you want to experience? Come visit!

The wine is made in the vineyard and it is from here that the visit starts.

Every Thursday at 16.00 (winter) / 18:00 (summer) you can book your visit.

We take to the vineyard – provide suitable clothing – where we will appreciate together the various vegetative phases of the plants along the rows along for about 250 meters going from Tear to Verdicchio in order to compare the differences of these two great grape varieties. We will continue the visit bringing us to the cellar where we will discuss our path winemaking and, if present, will taste the wines “Act to become” straight from the barrel.

We propose two solutions to visitors:

€ 5 / person for “fans”: includes a visit described above with a taste of two wines € 5
€ 12 / person for “Lovers”: includes a visit described above with nods to the tasting techniques with tasting of 4 wines with matching food and wine.
